Alanna update

Little Alanna is doing great. She is off the vent, and the C-PAP!!! Just on oxygen!! Praise the Lord. Tomorrow they are going to try to feed her via the bottle. This can be a challenge since she needs to learn to suck.

Pray!

No one should have to go through this... especially the parent of an innocent child. Unsure where the seizures are coming from. Unsure why her O2 stats won't stay up. Unsure of whether she'll need another surgery. Unsure where we are going from here. Unsure, unsure, unsure. One step forward, 10 steps back. Unable to ween off anything today. I wish I could trade her places. Just have to keep it in God's hands!!

This is what Rebecca just posted on facebook. Please pray! They are having a hard time dealing with this. Please pray for the doctors. That the Lord will give them wisdom as to how to deal with Alanna!

Out of Surgery!

Just heard from Rebecca. Alanna is out of surgery. Everything went as planned. They are now waiting to see her!

Surgery

Surgery is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, at 7:30 am. This could change but that is the time for now!

As Rebecca said, " Getting to hold the tiny person you've waited nine months to see for the first time--PRICELESS!!!

Alanna is still doing well.


They are looking at doing surgery on Wednesday. The doctors seem very optimistic about it all.
